September 3 - All about the Boogie




Final details for the inaugural Rotary Brandywine Boogie Trail Run - Volunteer spots and duties. Questions and answers.

A beautiful 11.5km trail run from Cheakamus to Brandywine Falls Provincial Park on the Sea To Sky trail. The race is point to point, mainly on level gravel tracks with some single track and mainly downhill. You will cross two bridges, run through diverse landscapes and generally be blown away by the natural beauty. Proceeds from the event help support Rotary sponsored local community projects.

Guest Speaker Lisa Martella, Executive Director of “A Loving Spoonful” speaks on how to grown a not-for-profit foodbank, A Loving Spoonful, bringing innovative and sustainable solutions. Lisa has grown, this, Canada’s third largest foodbank, using only 20% government funding! She has also Chaired the Touchstone Family Association Board, and is also involved in Dining Out for Life. She is driving up from Vancouver just to speak to us tomorrow.
